"Several years ago, I painted a scene with a black bear family and at that time this animal was a controversial species in my area as well as in other parts of the country. Sadly this problem still exists and the population of the black bear continues to grow out of control.

I think a sighting of this wonderful animal is thrilling. My vision for "Crying Out Loud " is how this beautiful black bear should be living in the wild.
